Account & Data Deletion

01Overview
This page explains how to delete your account and personal data for CourtX (formerly APL Padel), our racket-sports mobile app (Android package io.fractalx.courtx, also available on iOS). CourtX is published on the Google Play Store under the developer account "Bryan Caro" and is operated by FractalX Technologies FZ-LLC. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email — both options are described below.
02Delete your account in the app
Open the CourtX app and make sure you are signed in. Go to the Profile tab, then open Edit Profile. Scroll to the "Danger zone" at the bottom and tap "Delete account", then confirm. Your account and personal data are removed immediately and you are signed out. If you have any upcoming court bookings, cancel them first — the app will ask you to do this before it can complete the deletion.
03Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, email us at admin@fractalx.io from the email address associated with your account, using the subject "Delete my account". After we verify your identity, we will permanently delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
04What we delete
Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, including your name, email address, optional profile photo, self-reported playing level, account credentials, and any device push-notification tokens. You are also removed from any tournaments and open matches you had joined.
05What we keep, and why
To keep historical tournament standings and season rankings accurate for the other players you competed with, the results of matches you already played are retained in anonymized form — they are no longer linked to your name or identity. Any records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention purposes) are retained only for the period required by applicable law, and are then deleted or anonymized.
06Re-registering
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You are welcome to create a new account later with the same email address, but a new account will not restore any of your previous data.
